Wong Kar Wai

In my exploration of more “niche” films, Wong Kar Wai has become one of my favorite directors. So far I have watched:

Chungking Express (1994)

Fallen Angels (1995)

Happy Together (1997)

In the Mood for Love (2000)

2046 (2004)

I can’t recommend each of these enough. If you’re feeling especially interested, watch them in the order they’re listed – it’s a beautiful progression.

It was only right that I add the official WKW book to my collection: The Cinema of Wong Kar Wai by Wong Kar Wai
